We will be in Paris in early May. Are there any days that are quieter for visiting Le Louvre and Eiffel Tower?

Any idea at what time the crowds start to form in the morning? We would like to avoid them if possible. I know they are very, very popular, but does it make a difference getting there before opening time? Or perhaps buying tickets before hand, or a Paris-Pass card.

Be aware that there are 4 holidays in May in France.

The 1 May and the 8 of May are holidays. According to their website the Louvre is closed on May 1. It is also closed on Tuesdays.

The first sunday of the month is free entry so it may be more crowded.

buying the paris pass gets you past the lines to pay to get into the Louvre.

The Eiffel tower is open every day of the year. consider the holidays when you think about what day you will go.

During the week lines are not too bad. you won't need to be there before they open. May is not a busy tourist month, and you should be fine.
