What do you think of this girls' name?

Hello!
I'm hear on behalf of my neighbors who are due the beginning of May. They've generally made the decision on what they will name their daughter, but I wanted to know what you guys thought of her name. 

Her 3-year-old sister's name is Aislin Paige. No Irish pronunciation here... just AYZ-lin. I definitely thought "Aislin" was a strange name when I first heard it (considering that it's after the lion, Aslan, from the Chronicles of Narnia books), but it somehow suits her. 

They were considering Tobyn for a boy and Kyle or Kari (car-ee, not care-ee) for a girl, but chose Tessa. Her middle name will be Dawn / Don. The mother prefers Dawn as the spelling, but the father prefers the much more masculine Don... It's after a grandfather of theirs named Don, and the husband thinks that they should name their daughter literally after him, not after a name that sounds similar. 

So, I have kind of a few questions...
1 -- What do you think of Aislin Paige, Tobyn, Kyle, and Kari?
2 -- What do you think of Tessa Dawn / Don?
3 -- Do you prefer Dawn or Don as the spelling for her middle name?

It's nice you are helping your neighbors! 

1. I like Aislin Paige and the pronunciation!  Tobyn sounds like Toby, which is masculine. Kyle is a boy's name in my opinion. Kari is cute, but most people will pronounce it care-ee. 

2. I love the name Tessa Dawn. 

3. I don't see a problem using Dawn and not Don. She will always know she was named after her grandfather. She will just have a feminine version of the name, not the actual name.

1. I don't like Aislin Paige or Tobyn. Kyle is okay, for a boy. Kari is also okay.
2. Tessa Dawn for a girl. Don is for boys.

1.) I love Paige and Aislin is different but its really cute too. Tobyn is adorable. Kyle is over used but cute. Kari is cute but different and most likely will be having to correct everyone in school 
2.) Tessa Dawn/Don is adorable
3.) It should deffinately be Dawn because she might not want to tell people her middle name when shes older or will feel upset about it when she does. She could even hold it against your husband

1. I do not like Aislin Paige one bit. Tobyn is a really cute take on Toby. Kyle or Kari I hate (I hate K's) I think they look tacky. Carrie is okay but a bit nick-namey for me. 

2, I like Tessa Dawn/Don; it flows well.

3. I prefer Don funnily enough and agree with the father's reasoning.

don is a bit too masculine for a girls middle name.  Dawn is much prettier and suitable for a female.

Tessa Dawn is really pretty.

Kyle is more of a guys name, but Kylie is a great alternative, and so would Kari.

Aislin is cute! Tobyn is my friend Roberto's nickname, so I think of it as a nickname. Tessa Dawn is drop dead gorgeous! I Love it!
