Why do people have a hard time excepting that there is no difference between the two parties?

are we so entrenched in the two party system that we can not see they are two sides of the same coin.....

the bailout proves that...each party got there turn to fleece the American people for at least 800 trillion each EACH

Update:

something tells me that I will only get like minds to answer this question

how do me make the great unwashed see this ploy?

Update 2:

thank you Philip for your reasonable and thought out answer....

unfortunately i think they are two sides of the same evil....

Update 3:

it used to be pretty clear cut...the republicans wanted to control your money and the dems wanted to dictate how you live your life.....not so much anymore

Well there's a difference, but both have indeed been steering us in the same direction.

Democrats are focused solely on power. They want to force socialist type policies onto us in order to make use dependent on the government. That leaves us slaves to the government which gives them all the power.

Republicans are focused on money. It wouldn't be such a problem except that lately they can't seem to stop spending and spending leaving little money to handle the existing programs.

The catch is that neither is a true representative of their party. The parties don't stand for what they used to back when they worked for the people years ago. There was a time when both parties understood the importance of the Constitution and where the federal government's role ended.

    I am a Conservative.

I can only hope Republicans go back to their Conservative roots and reign in their out of control spending. Lower taxes. Strong military. No abortion. No gay marriage. Less restriction on business.

None of these things is even remotely considered by Democrats.

So I do not think both parties are the same. Republicans, to me, are by far the lesser of two evils.

I don't think most people are missing the point that both parties have become fiscally irresponsible. I think there's a huge desire shared by many for the conservatives to return to core conservative policies. The problem hasn't gone unrecognized.

Because their ideologies are fundamentally different, and they are quite different.

However, globalist are present in both trying to force their agenda through.

People who see this reality, may view them as the same.
