How is Obama's 800 billion bail out different from the one perpetrated by the Bush admin?

why will Obama's ruin us and not Bush's

How short is the public memory?

Update:

too true big.....

me.... you are delusional

Update 2:

M&T you need to work on your reading comprehension...

Update 3:

thank you I am me.....

nobama... i don't think your figures are correct

Update 4:

jessica ...don't assume that I am a democrat...these are for the most part the people that voted for the war and then were surprised and agin' it

Update 5:

Randy are you familiar with the amount of deregulation that took place during clinton's reign

Update 6:

doug ...that does not include the money that was funneled to companies starting last spring...i think it was JP Morgan......6 months later, low and behold they have enough to go and buy another struggling company

Update 7:

rotor.....let me get this straight socialism is ok for corporate welfare in a free market system.....

everybody ignores all the money that has poured into mismanaged, greedy, financial companies

Update 8:

Update 9:

we would have been better of if they took the bush bail out and paid people housing debt...but that is not the real crux of the problem....it is bank paper that is the problem

Update 10:

    CONSERVATIVES ARE AGAINST BAILOUTS!!!!

Just because some Republicans are voting like giddy Liberals, don't lump us all together.

Both bailouts are a waste of taxpayer money. Obama's spending has exceeded the spending of America in its 200 year history!

Think about that for a while. The government has spent in the last four months or will spend in the next year more money then it spent in all the rest of history combined!

Because Obama's bailout includes tax cuts that will cause middle class people relief and not a tax burden the next year. And for those assholes out there that think Obama is a bad president follow your leader Hitler... It will make the world a much better place!

$787 Billion is just the down payment. This thing is going to cost Trillions. It expands old programs and benefits, creates new programs and benefits, and as we all know, budgets for these programs never decreases and these programs never go away.

This bail out is a spending orgy designed to expand Socialism and government control.

Bushes was 725 billion, not 800 billion. Bush was out of Whitehouse before congress filled it with earmarks, wich made it rise too 787 billion.

How short is your memory when democrats were saying Bush was taking too much time and needed to pass that last 800 billion bail out? First, they criticized him for not doing it fast enough, then they criticize him and say they inherited it after he does it. Damned if he does, damned if he don't.

..."Barry" has squandered more of the American Taxpayers money in just the few weeks that he's been in office then the entire budgets of this Nation since "we" became a Nation !

Source(s): ...can you say "Trillions" ...? (end to end) A Trillion "one" dollar bills can be placed from the surface of the Earth to Mars and back !

    TARP wasn't $800 billion and wasn't 88% earmarks.
