30% of post office being sold to private sector?

will we get early morning mail again.and not in afternoons. their charges go up but services seem to go down.competition may be a better thing.

    my nearest town of RYE , CLOSED THERE POST OFFICE , AND IV ALWAYS GOT MY MAIL BY 9AM , BUT OF LATE ITS BEEN LATE , LOL DUE TO POSTAL WORKERS MEETINGS ,

    How does selling off part of the business to the private sector introduce competition? The involvement of the private sector will only maximise the profit motive not the service delivery - you can only expect your postal delivery to be much later unless you are prepared to pay a premium.

    Some people do get early morning mail - the problem is that costs have escalated while they are trying to reduce their workforce, so fewer mail carriers have longer routes - not everyone can get mail delivery in the morning, someone has to get it in the afternoon, you were just on the wrong end of the logistical delivery plan.

    You should know as well as I do Dennis, everything that goes private, also goes up and get worst. Just take a look at everything els, Gas, Electricity, Water to mention a few
