Growing enery crisis?

Given whatever you know, what do you consider to be the answer to our growing energy crisis? Remember that petroleum is used more for automobiles, but that's where most of it goes. As part of your answer, talk about alternative fuels and hybrid vehicles.

Personally I find that Thermal De-polymerization would work wonders for both the world economy and our future energy needs. Now thermal de-polymerization is a process where any organic matter is turned into hydrocarbons by compressing and heating the material until it becomes oil. Just think about all the organic garbage that humans are throwing out every day. If even a fraction of that waste were to be reused than humanity would have cheep and ample fuel for ever.

Honestly there are lot's of answers, already in play, we have many different sources of energy now apart from oil or coal. Despite the fact that petroleum is used in most car there are now cars with hyrdogen gas a fuel, which produces much less CO2 that petroleum, however it is much more flamable. There are also many other ways we recive energy, hydoelectricity, solar, wind, uranium (nuclear power), Natural Gas, and of course there is the whole thing abot "clean coal" which we know is a load of crap created by governments to seem clean, but we are truely not in an energy crises, it may seem like we are because the governments all around the world... well most of them, are so bent up on coal and oil usage instead of being clean to the environment. I mean as i said we have the technology we just need to start to use it, i mean in Calafornia Arnold schwarzenegger is the cleanest governer i think in the world, most power in Calafornia is now run on renewable and less toxic energy sources.

So my answer is this, i think, renewable energy is our savior.
