Is there a way to get WGN Radio broadcasts of Cubs games outside of Chicago?

WGN can't broadcast the games on the internet because of MLB. Is there some way around this? Do I need to buy a bigger antennae?

I need to hear Pat and Ron!

Cubs games are on AM radio all over the country...... unfortunatly my city dropped them for a local talk show & the nearest town that does cuts back & you can barely hear them after dark.

MLB audio...... you are going to pay for it $15 or you can join the Cubs Club ($20) at cubs.com and get MLB audio w/ it.

A lot of it would depend on where you live. If you are in some of the states neighboring Illinois, you may still have a local station that broadcasts the Cubs games on the Cubs Radio Network.

You can sign up on mlb.com.

Is WGN 50,000 Watts? Some of the stations from Chicago, I can get here in NJ at night, WLS, WMAQ, 1000, etc. I don't know about WGN though.

I've listened to the Pirates, Cardinals, Tigers, Twins, Indians, and Reds here at night.

Go to www.mlb.com and you can sign up for Game day and if you are outside of the black out area (Chicago) you can watch the games. Or you can sign up for Game day audio (There is no blackout for audio) and you can listen to all games both home and away - audio costs about $15 and MLB TV is about $129 per year.

Well, if they aren't on the radio, yes, you do need to get a bigger antennae. Good game so far.

The Cubs aren't on the radio right now. They are only on TV.

Maybe If you live in Des Moines Iowa like Myself, they are on 1350 AM here.

    Otherwise you can't get it.

Why would anyone go out of their way to listen to Ron Santo?
