'Very good'?...debatable. I reckon the spoken word and instruments could have done with a bit more layering - To make the track more eery and haunting and capture the mood. Possibly more 'Promised Land-esque'. That would have also allowed Geoff to get away with focusing on his lower register while still sounding great.
None the less, a HUGE improvement on the last few releases. Great to see the guys getting back to their roots and re-introducing the guitar solo. Rock on Whip!!
Definitely looking forward to hearing the rest of the record.
