Vista update fails,error 8024AFFF?

...Ultimate,C2D2.13ghz,4mb800RAM,8600GTxxx,updates fail (some require repair to run again) get this error.

...Microsoft sites say nothing found.

.....Can anyone suggest way to fix,get updates,or at least a site for this error code, (since Microsoft too busy to fix!)....Thanks,...DJ

    If it is a Microsoft Update, it will either be automatically offered again or else Windows will open its Problem Solutions window and advise you what to do

    You mean Downgrading to Vista Premium, not upgrading. Anyway, have you tried reporting the bugs to microsoft? If you have you may want to install Vista Again and see if that works.

    That's a driver issue. Here is a trick. Use another computer and down the fix and then, copy it and run ir from your computer.

    I have seen this error on one of your laptops and we kept trying to download and eventually, it work. Figure that out.
