does anyone know a good, free, picture editing thing i could download? or just use? all i use is the free version of picnik and i was wondering if there was anything better? thank you!

You can download the Gimp - it is legal and free.
Although it is rather ugly, it is a very comprehensive program, probably the closest you'll get to Photoshop without paying for it.
Be prepared for a steep learning curve, but there are plenty of tutorials around for it - on YouTube and on plenty of other websites, too.

Screen Dash. Its the only photo editor that can take screenshots, do paint and photo editing, and host images. Thus, you can share images with your friends and family. Its free, easy to use, and provides very professional photo editing.
