    Glucose is oxidized by removing the Hs. CO2 remains and is removed as a waste product. The removed Hs are used to generate ATP and are finally donated to O2 and released as a water molecule.

    glucose is broken down into two pyruvates during glycolisis. the two pyruvates then enter the intermediate stage, where they turn into acetyl coenzyme a. acetyl coA is then ready to enter the krebs cycle and then the electron transport chain. i recommend you do a little research for a more detailed description, as the krebs cycle and ETC are pretty complicated
