i am young so i havent seen alot of the classics that i wish i could have. i saw two great guitarists, possibly the best two on the scene today, in one show. john petrucci of dream theater was unbelievable, shredding like crazy and playing everything note for note, even extending some solos. paul waggoner of between the buried and me was great, too. fantastic play and creative riffs and solos.

in simple terms whilst i think of i will respond to this question, I scroll down purely a sprint and run into John Petrucci... i became into going to assert Jimmy website (Led Zeppelin, 1973), and that i've got seen Clapton, too approximately that factor physique... Too no longer basic of a question ~ lol P.S. Watched Pantera's at the back of the song final night ~ became into unfamiliar with them formerly that. What a heartbreaking tale!!! Sorry i will never get to verify them in stay overall performance. P.P.S. And after thinking approximately it a sprint extra, i visit characteristic Jeff Beck ~ observed him whilst Blow by employing Blow became into new ~ it became into spectacular. The Mahavishnu Orchestra became into the warmth up act that night... killer guitar participant, John McLaughlin became into their chief. And Leo Kottke. *possibly* now i'm finished... can't be constructive, tho!

No doubt it has to be Taylor Richards from Royal Bliss. Saw him and the band live a couple of weeks ago. You can hear him and see the videos at this link:

I've seen some great ones; David Gilmour, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Steve Howe (from YES), Jimmy Page, to name a few...

    Stevie Ray Vaughan..........

Edit: This was in the 70s when, 1977 to be exact. When he was with Triple Threat. Ahh man what a performance.

  • Stevie Ray Vahun, (probably spelled his last name wrong) but this was a long long time ago, I was too young to realize how good he was at the time, but later on, I began listening to him, and I can honestly say that he is one of the best ever.
