you can also buy rice paper blotting tissues to help out after you change your routine up.

they sell it at drug stores like rite aid, cvs. walgreens etc

Clean & clear has some oil blotting sheets, there like $6 but if you don't have any and your at school, if you ever need to get rid of some oil go to the bathroom and rip off a piece of toilet seat cover and you can use that to blot of the excess oil. always works :)

First of all, get a gentle cleanser. You're using an exfoliant, which should only be used twice a week. Instead, get something like Cetaphil's daily cleanser.

For foundation, which...this is going to be more expensive than Maybelline and L'Oreal's foundation+setting powder, but offer you a much better outcome, finish, better skin, no oil, lasting power, etc.

    1. Foundation = Clinique Superfit Foundation (oil-free, long-wear; lasts all day...I don't need to blot any longer)...$21

    2. Setting Powder = Mario Badescu's Healing Powder (sulfur-based: heals acne, absorbs oil, cheap)...$12

Total; $33 (excluding cleanser, though I'm sure you have some gentle cleanser left at home).

It's well worth the investment, trust me. Even though these two products may be smaller than you're used to, but you'll find that you'll need to use a whole lot less because of their high quality.

    Good luck!

As a professional makeup artist for over 20 years I highly recommend 2 products both from bee luscious cosmetics their pore perfecting face primer and liquid minerals foundation there will be no oily skin for about a good 12 -15 hours and they also have a product called ultimatte T-zone mattifier now that is the most amazing product I have ever used it will not allow any oil products at all its wonderful.

Everyone else is right, you should only use the scrub once or twice a week. Instead of the cream cleanser, try the foaming one. As for the makeup... Mineral powders are definately best for oily skin. I used liquid for years and finally switched to the powder foundations and what a difference.! No re-applying powder at all during the day, no cakey feeling or look either. Any drugstore carries a variety of brands, but my favorites are from Loreal, Rimmel, and Jane. You may also want to try an oil free mosturizer, and a weekly mask..Queen Helene's Mud Mask works really good...

Well, you have combination skin, which means that it is oily in some places, and dry in others. Lancome products really are the best for this situation; the moral of the story is to always use quality products, I have skin similar to yours, and Lancome works like a charm. The products are a bit pricey, but they are most definitely worth it. You have the right idea with your usual washing routine, but look for products that are specifically for oily skin and are non comedogenic, which means that there is nothing in them that can possibly irritate your skin or cause an allergic reaction. Try using a mineral foundation; mousse matte tends to make your problem worse. Good luck, and remember to be good to your skin!

    Two words.

    MINERAL FOUNDATION.

Usually for oily skin, liquid/cream based foundations just tend to maximize your problem areas and don't last the whole day. Mineral foundation seems perfect for you as it stays on and you can take advantage of your oily skin to make it stay on longer.

Try a loose powder foundation such as Bare Minerals, which is at Sephora. Or if you want a cheaper alternative, try Maybelline's mineral line. It's not bad.

    Good luck!

Well first off you're using an exfoliant everyday for your skin. I don't recommend doing that, because exfoliants are meant to be used either once a week or 2x a week. Next off you're using two foundations, cream and powder. Your powder should be used as a setting powder not another foundation. To keep your skin oil free throughout the day I recommend Make Up For Ever Duo Mat Foundation..

    http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P17...

I use it as my daily foundation and keeps my skin looking good (good coverage) and not oily the whole entire day!! I LOVE it and highly recommend it. Totally worth the price! I don't recommend mineral foundation because it actually make my skin get oiler and shiny throughout the day. A matte powder is what you need.

    Hope that helps!

Well you know you really do quite do a lot. washing you face is a great idea. no problems with that because that doesn"t cause the skin to become oily. I suggest no use in foundation AND powder at the same time. It"s best to use one only. powder..because foundation is giving the oily affect. when you sweat your makeup sweats. maybe that's the problem.

Try adding a little moisturizer to your foundation, it will go on smoother and let your face know that it is 'hydrated' so it doesn't secrete oil.

I would also begin cutting overly fatty foods from your diet (deep fried anything) to stop the oil absorptions to your body, and give your face a couple days of rest where you don't wear make-up.

try changing your foundation. the dream matte mousse from maybelline tends to make skin oilier.
