Do pug dogs sleep alot in the winter. Mine naps alot during the day.?

pugs are generally a low energy breed, so as they age it's not uncommon for them to sleep more.
dogs are not an animal that hibernates, so his sleepiness is due to breed, age, or low activity.

i own a pug, and he likes to nap alot, but i dont know if its cause of it being winter though (i just got him this winter), i think its more to do with the breed. pugs are pretty lazy,but i've seen mine get pretty hyper to on occasions.
