no, its not foolish.
it would be more foolish to continue in a course doing something you hate!!
you shouldnt worry about the cost of the course your doing, its important to choose something your going to be happy doing because, lets face it, you'll be using it for most of your career- and you gotta like it!!

Stupid. Stay at the same uni, and pick up credits for subjects passed. Perhaps one or two help towards your second choice. And you know the place, people, shops, restaurants and professors.
