Scared elephants try to bolt at circus, again?

Why won't they ever learn. It happened again today. Please speak out to ban circuses that use these poor animals and the other circus animals and put them in stressfull situations that put people and expescially children at risk. Thankfully no serious injuries in Indianapolis today.

Tell your local city authorites not to grant permits for these cuircuses.

There are better places to spend your money.

Update:

nrg- Get lost!

This is so not a political agenda. My question was clear how does this keep happening?

ok keep doing nothing about it. It was not your kid...

Update 2:

xp Local governments (elected by the public) grant permits to circuses. There is something you can do.

My comment about the kid was In response to the first writer who didn't think I had a right to object. You need to read my answer to him about whether or not this was a ?

To everyone else thank you even if you disagreed.

Read the news correctly and shut up. The elephant didn't bolt, it ACCIDENTALLY bumped into a portable stairway. Only Fox News was reporting that the elephant got "spooked" and bumped into the stairway, all CREDIBLE news sources are citing that it was just an accident, the elephant was not out of control, otherwise the circus would have been cancelled. Things happen, and elephants sometimes do go on a rampage, which is why I will never let my kids ride them. I have worked around elephants, I'm well aware of what they're capable of. But in this instance it was merely poor handling on the part of the person leading the elephant around, he just got too close to the stairs. Either that, or they were doing the elephant rides in an area that was not big enough (at our local circus the elephant rides are held within one of the rings, far from stairs and seats).

im sorry but - what is youre problem , i mean yes circuses are cruel in my opinion , but there is nothing you can really do to prevent circuses from being in buisness as its entertaining for some people

also , how is this even a question ? what do you mean it was not your kid....?

slightly confusing how does what keep happening ? circuses or what ?

because its cheap entertainment for some people , personally i dont agree with them at ALL but the reason why nobody has put into action some policiy which would involve banning circuses is because there are far too many other more imprtant issues in the world at the moment

I don't see why Dumbo just didn't fly OVER the stairwell and instead of breaking bones, break a few hearts down in the elephant graveyard.

Source(s): he must've missed that film.
