why do i suck at math?

For some people, it just doesn't click. Don't worry, everyone has a subject like this.

Don't worry about college, either. There are some very math-oriented majors, such as physics, chemistry, mathematics (who knew?), etc. Just don't take those, Something like political science, for example, requires just one basic stats class at my college.

MEE... I've always thought that I suck at math becuz i don't try. But when I studied and did extra practice 4 a test I got a D. Now I might have to repeat pre-algebra AGAIN in 9th grade... pray 4 me!!

As long as you don't intend to major in a math intensive subject you should be fine. Most colleges only require one year of basic math in nonmath intensive subjects. Keep working I sucked in math too in the 7th grade but i followed through and now im in calc. You might just use the other side of the brain and be stronger in other more creative subjects

It's not that you suck at math it's just that's not you're strongest subject some people are good at math some people are good at english and etc all it means is that you have to work a little bit harder in math than any other subject and you may have to ask for help but don't worry you'll get the hang of it just don't give up!

ben, i think u need to practice more. i dont know how much your "so, so, so, so, so, so, much" is. i suggest u start from the basics, grasp a concept firmly, and then practice relevant questions right after. the thing about math is just because u grasp a concept doesnt necessarily mean u will be able to tackle every question relating to it. that requires practice. its a good thing that you have developed an awareness of ur weak point. try allocating more time towards studying for math than other subjects. and dont think u suck at it.... just practice, dont give up, and dont overdo it.... baby steps, ok? all the best ;)

I'd the same problem hun. All I did was follow my Mom's advice and practice math for a minimum 1 our a day. Then I found myself doing just math all dy . LMAO

mathematics is a very good subject you gona understand lots about life if u got it, u may think that its not true but it happened with me

Dont say that. You will make it, just keep trying hard and make sure you do your homework every night and actually comprehend everything.
