Some web pages are programmed to NOT allow saving their web pages or the images in their web page, and there is nothing wrong with your browser.

For example, go to the website for the newspaper The New York Times at http://www.nytimes.com/

And try to save a page as .html or .mht (front page or any link.)

I have found that sometimes the first save works, but any other saves after that I get an error message (supposedly if I had an account I could save with no problem, but I don't have an account).

But on most web pages, it should work.

To check this out, try saving any page on Yahoo. It should work.

To check this out, try saving any page on

    http://www.cnn.com/

    It should work.

Sometimes a web page will refuse to save, I have found that "reloading" the web page often makes them save just fine.

Some web pages will not save as HTML, but they will save as Web Archive, .mht.

I don't know why this is so.
