If someone came to your door claiming to be god/jesus...?

Christians, I am curious right now, if someone came to your door claiming to be god/jesus - and you honestly believed they were who they said they were. After all I hear that god/jesus is due to come back to earth at some point right? A second coming or whatever it's called.

Okay so my question is - if they asked you to give them a load of money, or give them your brand new expensive car, or give them your home. Would you do it based on the fact that you think they're really jesus or god?

I know some of you reading this are atheists so you wouldn't exactly care, I get that, so you don't need to tell me. I'm atheist too, so you don't need to tell me what I already know you're going to say.

If by some odd chance God or Jesus did knock on your door and you realized that they are who they say they are and you refuse to give them what they ask for Im sure they wouldn't hold it against you.

I would never, ever believe some person at my door who claimed to be Jesus. The Bible makes it clear that Jesus won't come back until a bunch of very obvious things have taken place - and they haven't yet. It also says that when He comes back, *everyone* is going to see Him. It won't be done in secret; it won't be a local phenomenon like His birth was. It will be earth-shaking and everyone, even atheists like you, will know Who He is and will fall on their knees before Him. He won't just randomly show up at someone's door asking for their car or their money.

Well from what I understand, when Jesus comes again, everything is going to be destroyed, so he wouldn't need a car or money. So when that happens I would call the cops, as it would really be a crazy guy. All Jesus is going to say, is (not in these words probably). Kiss your a$s goodbye.

No. Everyone will know who Jesus is when He returns. All eyes will see Him coming out of the clouds. Just as He ascended into Heaven, He will descend to the Earth.

First of all if someone claims to be Jesus & came to my house, I will say get behind me satan, because God already own all the gold & silver & all the cattles & everything else. & God does not need to beg for money or worldly goods.

We read our bibles and that is not the way it goes. First of all, my God is too wise to do a thing like knocking at my door and ask me for material things. That is a job for gold diggers and pimps, not God.

God gives us things, He does not take them away and He is only interested in our souls, not our material possessions.

God is not interested in earthly things. So as soon as the someone starts asking for my stuff out the door they would be.Unless they were homeless and hungry and then I would feed them something and call my church.

Jesus will not be after earthly possessions, so anyone who comes asking for my possessions would be a crook
