In Works choose File/Save as....
Look for an option to "save as type"
Select either .doc or (if doc not available) choose .rtf
This can be opened in Word.

Word can open Works Word Processor documents so there is no need to worry about compatibility.
And usually, it is safer to keep your files in native format rather than converting them repeatedly since all conversions will result in some loss of quality; for instance, formatting may be affected. Since people in your office presumably have Office, just keep your stuff in wps.

Word can open a .wps document.
