The NH Hotel Amsterdam City Centre offers this facility. Or at least they did 3 years ago when wife, me and 6yo son were there. You can check out on their website. Also look for Van Der Valk hotels in Amsterdam. They have quite a few properties and surely offer childcare. The facilities of childcare are usually available on prior request only. Hotels located IN the City Centre in most cases might not have elevators since they are inside old buildings, preserved as part of Dutch heritage. A little away but within walking distance, you can find some modern ones.

the krasnopolsky may be rated 5 star...but in reality its a tired 4 star..a true 5 star is the intercontinental amstel..pitt and clooney stayed there during filming in amsterdam
