The Arctopus, Spastic Ink, Blotted Science, Brain Drill, Faraquet, Other Men, Japandi, Piglet, Tera Melos, PsyOpus, Upsilon Acrux (especially Upsilon Acrux), Zevious, OXES, Volta Do Mar, etc... etc...
That doesn't necessarily mean I'd want to learn songs by these bands, but that they would very difficult.

In the rock global the toughest matters to play are ussually songs by means of bands like Rush or Yes. The handiest different matters rather difficult to gain knowledge of are within the Classical and Jazz genres. The songs you're running are rather elementary, however that doesn't imply they are not well songs. Some of the satisfactory songs in rock are sensible.

I agree that Eruption looks difficult.
I've also seen people play the Sultan's Of Swing solo by the Dire Straits and that looks pretty hard. Although I'm just an observer...

I have played guitar before but not extensively...I suck.
I've heard many songs like Canon in D (rock version obviously), cliffs of dover, national anthem, etc. But I've seen young kids playing them so I doubt they are that hard.
I'm going to have to agree with the answer above me. Eruption by Eddie Van Halen. That song rips, with all the special techniques he uses. No one can play that song and make it sound like the original.

I just think really fast songs or ripping guitar solos like AC/DCs, and maybe changing beats like Meshuggah (even if its more the drums)
