Is Dwayne Wade a legitimate candidate for the 2009 MVP?
Everyone is talking about Kobe and Lebron and I know every player has their time but I believe it's D-Wade's time to win the MVP. He has 29.4 ppg, 5.10 rpg, 7.6 apg with an EEF of 28.97. Statistically he's averageing better numbers than Lebron in points, assists, steals, blocks, and field goal percentage. He's averaging better numbers than Kobe in points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and field goal percentage. I don't see how he can't be considered the MVP and i believe he should be in the national spotlight when talking about MVP

Yes D-wade is a legitimate candidate for the MVP this season, D-wade has been playing well year for the Heat and you can't agrue with his stats. 1st in scoring, 2nd in steals, 7th in assist, 1st in FG% among guards, 1st in blocks among guards. and now the Heat is really playing well looking to close on that 4th seed. Kobe and Lebron are still MVP candidates but now it's a 3 man race.

Dwayne Wade is a legitimate candidate for the 2009 MVP season, but in most seasons, you need a better team record. Right now you have Kobe with the best record in the NBA with the Lakers 50-13. Even though Dwayne Wade has better stats his team's record is 34-29. Lebron has the 2nd best record in the NBA, with 49-13. Dwayne has the better stats, but without the stronger team, he really doesn't have a chance, but if Dwayne keeps playing like he did yesterday with amazing 48 points he can win NBA without the winning team. He just needs to play finominal like he did yesterday against the Bulls.

Wade ought to have been MVP final season. The numbers he placed up with a crappy team, palms down MVP. With Wade, Heats may be rubbish back. He has a stable shot at MVP, yet we gotta see how he does this season.

He should win it and this "team record" crap shouldn't be in the discussion. Lebron & Kobe currently has "All-Stars" & good coaches on their team, Wade has who?

Heck yea ... He is the MVP of 2009

His numbers are excellent, but his team is barely over 500. I would't consider him. He hasn't made his team better.

NO NO NO NO NO
Stat doesn't matter,he can't carrying his team to be better in the East
Ok his team is bad,but compared to LeBron in 2007,the situation was same, his team sucks but he can carrying his team to the NBA finals
After Wade can do that,I will admit he deserves that
