Magic The Gathering, Elder Dragon Highlander (EDH) question about how to get a certain ability to work well?

Gilder Bairn is your card of choice, but remember, in EDH, there are 100 cards and only one of each, so you need some tutoring to get it if you get ahold of Chandra. Now once you get a Gilder Bairn, you need a way to tap it, preferrably without risking it to attack, so that you can use his ability to untap and double the counters on target permanent, in this case, loyalty counters on Chandra. I would suggest Mothdust Changeling, but just like clockspinning, it's blue. A Master Decoy would work, it's white or better yet, Curse of Chains would tap the creature each upkeep for you and that would work for free after that and it's a blue/white hybrid, so if white works, there is your card. Enchant Gilder Bairn with curse of chains. Each upkeep of yours, you will have to tap the Gilder Bairn and then you can activate his untap ability to use on Chandra. If you need other ideas, go to the wizards website and use the gatherer and search for "tap target creature" and see what you can find that will help you.

Your options are pretty much limited to Doubling Season (which will double the number of counters it comes into play with) or Gilder Bairn.

Golder Bairn is best with Utopia Vow, which will allow you to double the counters for each 2 mana you have. Other options for Gilder Bairn enhancers would be Flame Fusillade, Power of Fire, or Presence of Gond.

However, you have no tutors availible in those colors (at least, for a reasonable cost). I would suggest adding a lot of card drawing - Browbeat, Harmonize, Kavu Climber, Elvish Visionary, that type of thing.

Defense of the Heart - go get some creatures and put them into play on your upkeep!

Natural Order - sac a green creature to get a green creature and put it into play

Primal Command - couple of abilities: gain life, or search for a creature and put it into your library,

Congregation at Dawn - Search for 3 creatures and put them on top of your library in any order

Any number of cards that let you search for basic land - use those to thin out your deck, get more mana and get to Chandra quicker!

I'm no longer certain Norin is abusable in EDH. He's very complicated to kill due to the fact he blinks out of play so effectively, however there rather is not a lot capabilities to having him in play due to the fact he are not able to block, he are not able to assault, and his capability does not rather advantage every other playing cards. As you mentioned, he would combination with Pandemonium, however would it be larger to without difficulty have Sulfuric Vortex in play? I'm certain there are larger mono-crimson generals.
