POLL: Who still plays that N64 antique?
I do.
And if you do what's your favorite game for it?
Mine's Super Mario 64.
I don't think any Mario game could ever beat that.

I Still have my N64, I still have the games I bought for it at the time, but because converting composite to any other video format converters are pretty bad and I don't have anything that has composite still, I use an emulator for the games I still have a physical copy of, main downside of emulating being that there is no real good way to set up a controller for it apart from having two set ups where one has the D pad as the D pad and the C buttons as the right analog stick, and then one with that flipped. Obviously using the original system with the original controller is ideal, but unless I could find a modified 64 to use newer video cables, composite to anything else converters is just as bad as SVideo for anything, and if you've used SVideo you would know how unplayable that would be, text is pretty much illegible using SVideo even if everything else looks alright, text doesn't work with it.
With that said favorite game for it (that I played enough of to judge it, and not just some 30 minute Blockbuster in store "demo") would have to be a toss up between the original Banjo Kazooie or Mario 64 shortly behind being Glover. Banjo Kazooie had much more interesting world design then Mario 64, but Mario 64 the controls felt a little more responsive which is important in platformers. Had my first Paper Mario game been the 64 version it might have been close, but having played the Gamecube version first it just didn't interest me as much (Though I still do own my original SNES and Super Mario RPG Legend of the 7 stars, which I will emulate from time to time, again for the same reason of no composite cable on any of my monitors)
Then again this was asked 6 years ago, at which time yes I did still play the original console without emulation since I still had monitors that could run it. I generally keep all the consoles I have owned, and from time to time boot them up to play games of old that where great enough to stand the tests of time.
