pension money is set to rise in April?
yet rent,electric,water and everything else goes up and pensioners are no better off.why can`t prices be frozen for a while so people can enjoy some extra money for a change.

As everything you name is a private company and private contact between you and the provider, they are not government controlled and the government does not intervene with the free market.

Hi Dennis, you should know as well as anyone.
The government only gives you a rise, if they know they can get it back in other means. It just makes them look as if there looking after the old folk.
1 put a heavier tax on gas and things
2 give the old folk a rise in pension
3 the old folk pay more for their gas
4 the gas company give us it back in tax
5 the government lose nothing
6 well that's the way i see it ... lol

I agree , as the pension rise dont cover the increasing bills what so ever , in fact comes no where near it , its even dearer down here in the south east to live ,
