They stay in their cages 99% of the am & pm.

Yet another reason that Pet Stores are horribly awful.

During the day, they are in glass cages like they are on display. Then after store hours, they keep up to 10 puppies at a time in tiny wire cages, about 2x2x2 feet.

Its disgusting. Never buy your dog from a pet store.

Source(s): I went into the back of a store after hours, they said I could see the puppies

They go no where they are removed from there viewing cages in the day time and put in the back of the store in cages at night.

They are usually stuck in the same pens all the time until the shop is open, then they are forced to endure big tall people towering over them glaring and poking at them.

They stay right where you last seen them It's a shame and think they should have more room in the kennel than they do.

Maybe put a human in that size and see how they do.

Source(s): I see the pet store here in town a couple times a week Just stop in to visit and play with puppies.

In their kennels! Most puppies in petstores are from dirty puppymills. Never buy a puppy from a petstore.. they are very hard to house train! Among lots of other reasons.

Nowhere, they stay in those tiny cages until someone buys them. Isn't that a shame?

Maybe in a back room or somewhere. But I'm pretty sure they don't go home to a loving home each night!

They stay in that same undersized cage you saw them in during store hours.

    Pathetic isn't it.
