You will tan better taking the amino acid l-tyrosine.

Please be careful of the sun's uv rays. Put on sunscreen....a little sun wont hurt, but these days you have to be careful. I'm black and even with the melanin in my skin I am at risk. so please be careful.

Sometimes it is just best being happy with the way God made you and emphasize those attributes. You weren't made to have dark skin and might be damaging your skin in trying to make it so.

Just ignore people who tease you.

Hmm, that's hard to say exactly. Everyone's skin is different. I do know that if you want to tan, you should go for a little bit almost everyday. Have you tried tanning in tanning beds? You should start out at around 10 minutes. If you get no color (expected) then that's normal. You can't get much for ten minutes. So, what you do it keep going. If you got no color, go up to 12-15 minutes. Whatever the outcome is, you should either stay at 15 minutes if you got a little pink, or if you still got no color then go for 20 minutes in the next couple of days. Keep this up, and 20 should eventually be enough for a while. It takes time, so be patient :) Tanning is a way where you can get yout base tan, and then as soon as you've got that then you start getting darker and darker and withstand more sun. good luck!

If that still doesn't work, then maybe your skin isn't meant to get very tan. If that's the case, then there are bronzers and sprays, though some will make you look orange. Ono the plus side for you, being pale is actually really pretty. It's different, because almost everybody around you wants to look tan. In the fashion world, being pale is edgy :) And strangely, some guys will really really go for paler girls!

  • Lucky you. I'd kill for a porcelain glow like yours. What's so attractive about looking like an Oompa Loompa? One day when this awful trend is over you going to laugh at yourself.

If you want a nice fake tan, use a gradual tanner like Johnsons or Dove. My friend uses these on her legs and it gives off a nice, sunkissed glow.

it has something to do with pigments in your skin i think theres 3...i think but u have different amounts of it and thats what makes u tan and if u have no pigment then ur albino i think but im not for sure cause my dad was talking about but cant remember for sure, so what im saying is u might not have the right pigment amount to make u tanned easily i think...again lol :P Well yeah i think its about pigments so i guess be in the sun longer....

Not everyone can tan, give it up before you give yourself skin cancer.
