I love the symbolism created by the appearance of many words on the page.  There is an absurdity associated with words.  We like to deceive ourselves that words don't matter - hence the cliche: "Sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me."  However, I don't know of anyone who can honestly say that they aren't hurt by words, sometimes very much so. Words are nothing and everything, cheap and priceless.  They are easy to string together, but once used they are hard to take apart.  Time is often the best acid to dissolve the words that hurt us.  Great expression.
