why is yahoo answers currently unavailable?

Most likely you have reached your daily limit for answering questions.

As you are at level 1, you can answer a maximum of 20 questions per day.

You will be able to answer questions again on the next "Yahoo!" day.

The Yahoo! day starts at 12.00 AM Pacific Time (I think this is corresponding to 8.00 AM GMT).

Till then you can VOTE the best answers for some UNDECIDED questions.

You will receive 1 point for every vote unless you vote for "No Best Answer" (in this case you get NO points).

When you get to level 2, you will be able to answer up to 40 questions a day.

Level 2 starts at 250 point.

That happens to me a lot, but most of the time it posts my answer anyway. First you should always open a quesiton in a new window. Then if your answer is a long answer, just scroll over it with your mouse and hit the C key on the keyboard while holding down Ctrl. That will copy your answer. Then you can just paste if you need to answer again. Paste is Ctrl - V. Before you do that, though, left click on your profile and check your answers to see if yours posted.

That particular problem seems to be recurring with an increasing frequency.

Perhaps the major cause is that the system is grossly overloaded with 90 million global members and this seems to be causing for ever increasing glitches in the system and technical problems.

LOL. it is so stressful. some weeks in the past that got here up when I drained to post a query so i assumed the question did no longer post so I drained 4 extra situations. became out the question published 4 situations :/

Yes, it is just a temporary glitch. It will go away in a few minutes. Try refreshing the page.
