For the most part you'd see JOY, saddled between moments of terror, extreme grief, and fear.

I try to block out my memories, I have had a very violent life. I guess if they wanted a happy memory, it would have to have something to do with the dogs that have graced my life. This is a good question. I have a sister that is 5 1/2 years younger than I am and one of our issues is that my memories are my memories. She doesn't understand that. She wasn't born yet when my older sister and I suffered the most abuse, or she was still too little to understand what was going on. Even as she got older, she didn't suffer the abuse that my older sister and I did, and she wasn't around for all of the burden we went through. I wrote her a letter about all the suffering I had through my life. She will get it when I die. She always assumed I was wrong, but after she reads this letter she will realize that I was right. She never assumed I was right.

the only memories that i remember from my childhood (3-11) are bad, i cant think of one thing good that happened during my childhood.
the memory that will always be on my mind is when my moms boyfriend beat me so much that i had blood everywhere, and my mom just sat and laughed at me.
this memory is why i dont trust people, and affects my everyday life.

that is what i do for people to go into their hurtful memories from their childhood to explore reasons to their current behaviors, it is not easy to explore the dark for in it I can see so much pain and suffering some are to much to see that it is best not to go there.
for me, getting beaten up by my daddy when I was 12 or 13 not easy for it makes no sense to me but thank God I am now one that helps others find reason to their pain and hurt. peace out.
