Chemical Imbalance? Help Please?

I've been sick for the last 4 days with a sore throat and fever. I also have a sore back and neck and lightheadedness from lying down all day.I have been taking Tylenol to help with the pain and fever.

Yesterday I took 2 Tylenol,2 Benylin, and a Reactin (For Allergies) at 6:30 AM. I took 2 more Tylenol at 11 AM and then 2 at 8PM.

At around 10:30 PM I had some kind horrible chemical imbalance. I was extremely, a few steps a from suicidally, depressed and also mildly paranoid. I had nothing to be sad about really (other than being sick) and my life is very happy. Anyway figuring I needed to get out of the house and calm my mind a little I got my mom to take me the hospital (I'm 16) to see if it was strep throat. We got back around 12:30 AM. By that time the depression ect. had pasted.

I am just curious as to what I did that would cause that imbalance. Does anyone have any advice?

I am Canada.

Reactin is just an allergy medicine. Benylin is for sinus congestion etc.

    Being sick can mess with your emotions sometimes, I personally end up crying more when I'm sick.

    But it could be that you had a bad reaction to one of the drugs that you were taking, I don't know what Benylin or Reactin is, so I can't say about those, although you could look them up on the internet and see if there are any know side effects to them.

    good question! i could say it works the two methods. while you're depressed for an prolonged time you do not frequently take good care of your self and that ends up in undesirable food plan options which may bring about an imbalance.     Are you in the US? The only drug that you took that I am familiar with is Tylenol??What did the hospital say?
