    You and whom ever that you want to chat with need the same software. Yahoo messenger has a web cam service or you can download Skype for free. Don't use your web cam software, just go into the web chat software Skype or yahoo messenger) and call the person you want to chat with, then you each invite each other to view your web cams and start chatting.
