Easy math problem!?!? solving for a variable.?

f=pq /p+q solve for q

    if you mean:

    f = (pq)/(p+q)

    multiply by (p+q):

    f(p+q) = pq

    expand left:

    fp + fq = pq

    subtract fq:

    fp = pq - fq

    factor right:

    fp = q(p-f)

    divide by (p-f):

    fp/(p-f) = q

    f=pq /p+q

    pf + qf = pq

    pq – qf = pf

    q(p–f) = pf

    q = pf/(p–f)
