Not sure if this is the sort of thing you are looking for but I have seen a sales incentive scheme where salespeople are entered in to a sort of lottery every time they sell, and at the end of the week the staff 'win' prizes like an afternoon off, shares in the business, chocolates and so on.

The salesperson's job is to sell more and more, and that means one needs financial reward in terms of elevated rankings and emoluments. I am yet to meet any salesperson that does the work for gimmicks like an afternoon off or things like that.Salespersons feel happy and enthusistic to increase productivity only and only on the basis that they can share the profits generated . To offer them chocolates or dinner may be welcome as a short pleasantry but in the long run it is hard money alone that gains the best services of people in the sales job, whether over the counter or ar ddorstep.

A company I worked for once took us out for food or to a bar and paid for all drinks, that was a good incentive.
