Boot camp not basic. When u hit the fleet you can get your name on the waiting list for the eye surgery unless you are about to deploy i think. You can bring 20 your drivers license and your social security card and the clothes on your back. Run like hell shed those extra pounds and cut out all the candy soda junk food. Drink a gallon of water a day and start working on your pull ups now.

Usually any medical issues that aren't serious are dealt with at your unit, if is in an impairing issue, then it will be dealt with when it comes to a head. So you will have to go through, Boot Camp (13 weeks), 10 days leave, Marine Combat Training (30 training days). Then you will go check into your unit, and be able to schedule an appointment for anything that might need to be corrected.

There are Marine Corps Height / Weight standards you have to adhere to. What is your current height?

Your recruiter should have answered all of the questions you just asked. This posting makes me worry.

Hate to tell you this, but you are no where near shipping weight.

Just to ship at your height, you need to be 196, thats why your recruiter has not given you the info on boot camp shipping. Are you in the DEP program?

Cant get i surgery till u get to the fleet and u have to qualify for it. Also theres a pretty long waiting list. Bring a photo ID, an address book and thats it. if you are religious u can bring a bible, or whatever.
