Does a Car GPS work when walking?

(Not the ones that come with the car XD)

the ones that put buy and hang it in your car

    Yes, absolutely they do! I've taken mine out on a walk. You could even take one on a bikeride, I imagine. I also have a Tomtom.

    Just make sure the battery is fully charged. Nothing to plug it into, right?

    Yes I think TomTom has a walk mode on it.
