while both these 2 attempts are leading people nowhere , have you ever tried to seek God in a non theistic manner?

Are you trying to say that atheists are dependent on theists for their beliefs?
If yes, then I am deeply offended as an atheist.
Theism means categorizing everything whose explanation is not obvious as "Supernatural" or "work of God" while atheism means constantly searching for an explanation and being open-minded towards different beliefs(which seem possible to you).
While I do agree that Atheism has no well defined rules as a religion, there is no holy book that you have to follow to be an atheist and atheism has the most variety(in the least population) out of all beliefs. That is because of the open mindedness towards everything.
For me, searching for a belief means searching for a theory of physics to explain everything in the universe and beyond it(like parallel universes, the existence of which causes uncertainty in ours), although not all atheists would be like me. But they will all agree that the concept of 'God' is as bleak in atheism as it can be because of the multiple things it can mean.
If God can be defined as something that explains everything, then yes I believe in it and I am currently seeking it as a theoretical physicist.
So yes, I am trying to find my 'God' in a non theistic manner.
Sadly though, the theists call their God supernatural but portray him as someone who has to be pleased or angered by our deeds. If you go against God by saying swear words, abuses, doing bad deeds, then you portray him as being affected by what you do and thus not being supernatural. So there is a contradiction in the theistic view of their own God.
Because of this, atheists don't want to say that they believe in God, although most would agree that they believe in a power, or force that is supernatural, but not want to classify it as God, because they think that if they say they believe in God, they will be classified as theists.

Strong atheism may have intent. Weak atheism, which most atheists are, is simply a lack of belief.
We don't try to prove theism wrong until they try to prove it right, and sometimes even then we'll ignore them.
It sounds to me like you're arguing for pantheism, but even that is, I suppose, theistic in a way, since theism is simply anything having to do with God.
You could be like me, a spiritual atheist, and seek "God" through study and psychotropics, but then it's not really God you're looking for, since I don't believe in God; there's no evidence. Just a naturalistic spiritual nature.

Theism and atheism aren't religions, they're philisophical positions. You can't seek god in a non-theistic manner, the only non-theistic god is the deistic god who by definition has no contact with the natural world and is thus unknowable.
Any god who interacts with the natural world in any way, and is thus knowable, is a theistic god.

That's not all true. My people have believed for centuries. Look where God has taken us. However, I would almost fear, that's if I didn't fear God that my people are falling and falling and falling away from the true God. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I've never had to have to approach The Creator in a non-theistic manner because His spirit has been in me since before I was taken out of the womb. BTW(by the way). Don't lean into your own understanding of God. Just ask God to reveal Himself to you and more than likely He will do it through everyday life or through animals, humans and the greatest of all of them that can shake us up, dreams.

No, atheism is not an attempt to prove theism wrong. It is just lack of belief in gods.
Consideration, and care for other humans is my reason to try to pull people out of religions.. as far as theism, I don't see it as a damaging thing. These are views that I hold, not views that atheism holds.

Atheism in and of itself is not an attempt to prove theism wrong. It is simply a lack of belief in any gods.

Didn't you ever read any of our other answers. NO! Atheism isn't an attempt to prove religion wrong it is not believing in the gods you have invented.

Theism is an irrational belief in deities without evidence. Atheism is the default position of skepticism when presented by such irrational claims.

If god is not a theistic god (ie, he doesn't care about humanity, doesn't grant an after-life) why should anyone care about "seeking" him?

Yes didn't work so I became atheist again.
But I plan to go on a true spiritual journey and travel the world finding out about religion.
