Is pass plus worth it?

Yes it is - you will qualify for up to 30% discount on your first year's insurance so it is like getting 1 year no claims bonus straight away.

Its definitely worth the time and money only for younger people as you will get 30% discount on your insurance, I passed mine at 28 and the insurance companies don't take this into consideration due to my age even though i passed a ROSPA Gold prior to this certificate, the ROSPA also wasn't' t much use with certain insurance companies the best certificate to go for is the IAM (institute of advanced motorists). they give discounts of up to 30% and most companies accept this certificate.

money wise, its relatively expensive to undertake but u wood save money in the long run. i think its as much as 33%.

however, the main advantage of pass plus is not saving money on insurance, but the actual experience gained in driving in sitations that are not involved in regular driving lessons, such as motorway and night time driving. doing pass plus will help u feel more comfortable thus a safer driver.

i think if its just that you want to save money and you think u wil be ok on the motorway and stuff id look really hard and ring every were for a quote!! lots of people try and con you on the phone dont forget they get payed more for how much they sell it to you!! say You been quoted 1000.00 and see what they say,

my mum did it behind my back and she payed with me doin pass plus for a year with a 400.00 Access!!! 1400.00!! my car is old and only a 1.1i so be care full!!!

if you're female you will save money on your insurance,it doesnt seem to alter insurance costs if you're male but it is a good thing because it gives you more experience in driving on motorways which you dont learn as part of your ordinary driving test instruction

I did an equivalent of that program and I pay 800$. Thats on a 5.8L truck thats lifted sky high and that also includes my dual sport DR650 bike. Otherwise I would be paying around 2000$. That's Canadian dollars.
