Tyler Hansbrough all the way!?

I don't hate the guy. To the contrary, he stuck around for four years, plays hard, listens to his coach, and basically carries himself well (the incident with jumping in the pool from the second story notwithstanding). In other words, he does all the things that too many other players don't.

He's obviously an outstanding collegiate player, but it's difficult for me to imagine him starring in the NBA. Don't get me wrong, Hansbrough will play but won't play a major role. Decent bigmen are almost non- existent in the NCAA and it's easy for one who is anything more then decent to just dominate then college. But Hansbrough's lateral defense and overall athleticism just won't be enough at the next level. And he's not just going to out- will everyone because he'll be playing against pros night in and night out.

Being good in College does not mean you will be good in the NBA. It is a totally different level.

UNC is a top school and always gets good recruits. Coach K has a great rep, so that leaves UNC for haters to feast on.
