please help me understand what is really going on here?

did Mrs. Clinton say that she has invited Iran to take part in Afghanistan? or did she invite them over over on TV?

was it suppose to be a surprise?

then there is also this news!

http://english.people.com.cn/90001/90777/90854/661...

what did really take place?

ie; did USA use such a tactic in order to see how would Iran react first? and since it was positive, U.S. goes ahead with an official invitation? now is that what happened?

yes the invitation for Afghanistan issues is important for both Iran and USA. Iran declared that such an invitation will be investigated positively, but some news agencies reported that Iran foreign ministry has officially accepted it, which has not happened yet. the invitation will be sent by Netherlands as it was declared before.

considering that Obama is going to send a mail to Iran supreme leader, the relationship between Iran and USA can be improved if fanatics in both Iran and USA allow. of course there are serious problems that currently are impossible to resolve, but at least the improvement can change the current ridiculous insulting of both sides to a logical status.
