dodge stratus engine tick?
I just had the timing belt/water pump changed out on my 3.0 liter engine. Now the engine ticks after i sit at idle for about a minute? Engine is quiet once I get off idle for about 2 mins?
I change the oil every 3,000 miles. It never ticked till I had the timing belt replaced?
Mechanic said there is some sludge in the engine, but I don't think it's a loose bolt or screw because it only ticks when the engine idles for about a minute. It slowly begins to tick, quietly at first then get's louder?

it may be the timing cover hitting against a pulley, check and make sure all the bolts are back in it right, there's one bottom bolt that most mechanics like to leave out because its difficult to get too, good luck.
