Xbox 360 Red Ring in just 1 of 4 segments?
My Xbox went red in only the lower right segment. Is this the dreaded red ring of death or is it something else since none of the others are red?

The one red ring just means your xbox is a little bit too hot.
Wait for a day and it will be fine!

If your Xbox 360 still plays then it is not. But either way you should buy a PS3 because Xbox 360 technology is old. PS3 is going to be $300 in the summer. I know because my dad works for Sony. Good Luck

I think that means one of you cables not plugged in tightly.
I don't remember but I got a red light on 1 or 2 segments and then I figured out one of the cables wasn't plugged in tight enough.
Try that first.

I've seen reports from some websites saying that happens when your hard drive is not fully connected
