Can i release my Squirrel into the wild even if he's tame?
I've been trying to let go my Squirrel for a little bit now, i've had him since he was 2-3 weeks old. He's only known what i've given him. i let him go a couple weeks ago and he came back and jumped on my mom. So i'm trying to figure out if i can even let him go. He's pretty tame, still has a wild side. but i'm not sure if i should try to let him go again or not.

Umm.. I wouldn't recommend it. But, if you want to give him up, then take him to a wildlife sanctuary. they will take good care of him, and slowly wean him off of human interactions. We had to do that with a few raccoons when i lived in the country :) Good luck. let me add something real fast XD. They can't get rabies like they said down v. I don't understand this either.

i wouldnt recommend letting the squirrel into the wild. the animal's used to human interaction and thats why it came back. he's used to having food brought to him. if u want to let him go then take him to a wildlife sanctuary (like previous person said) and they will take care of him

you ought to objective liberating it. it really is at a draw again and could fairly develop into prey for a canines or hawk. i ought to placed in spite of the truth that he has been caged in outdoors somewheres preserve and sheltered. nutrients accessible elsewhere contained interior the outdoor. He has no difficulty of you, so as straight away as he seems on his as subsequently being on his own, you wight pick to terrorize it fairly to instill a healthy take exhilaration in for the evil that could lurk interior the hearts of guys.

I wouldn't. He's lost his natural fear of humans, so if he gets rabies, or some other horrible disease, he'll have no problem approaching and attacking humans. Also, if he's been humanized, he won't be accepted into squirrely society.
