I need a good sushi place in DC for dinner?
Looking either around the White House or Capitol Hill
Please let me know of your dining experience or what you've heard from others.
Thanks

The best offering would be Sushi Taro in the Dupont Circle area, but they are closed for total renovation until late March. If your visit is planned for after that time, it is well worth it ... one of our favorite restaurants in the District.
We're enjoying the newly-opened Momiji -- 505 H Street NW -- in Chinatown.
Outside of fast-food sushi at the Union Station food court, I don't think there are any offerings on Capitol Hill. Other choices between the White House and Capitol include:
** Asia Nine - 915 E Street NW (Washingtonian editor's pick)
** Sei - 444 Seventh Street NW

OYA is a really cool place. Its all white on the inside with really chic white furniture and it plays nice lounge-like ambiance type of music. And not to mention the food is good. 777 9th street dc around chinatown.
