Hell i used to work at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base Museum in Dayton, Ohio in the restoration hangar and we worked with the Merlin G Rolls-Royce engine and the american Packard PV-12 engine. I think there are alot of the Merlin G engines you can still buy because it was the last model they produced in the middle of WWII. If you cant find the Merlin try the PV-12 engine which is compatable with the Mustang. But call up the Wright Patterson AFB museum which is open to the public and if your a airplane fanatic the i would recomend going, and tell them your interested in the Merlin engine and they could tell you where they got theirs.

Most likely though your going to have to rebuild the merlin engine. and by the way, i take it you have some money to spend becuase those engines cost around about 30-40 grand.
