Are Dell Laptops/Notebooks ok to use?

I buy nothing but Dell computers. Done so for the last 15 plus years, and never a problem with one.

Currently have Inspiron laptop (1525) XPS desktop, and a Inspiron 530 desktop. All nice machines.

Dells are extremely reliable computers, for your friends, they must be doing something wrong. The only time my Dell crashed was when I was messing around with it and Windows 7 + partition. XD.

any laptop will crash easily if you pack them with software which is unstable and/or puts alot of load on the laptop processor. If you only install and use software you only require and not alot of junk, it will never crash. And that is for all laptops, not just Dell

do no longer waste some time with a working laptop or computing device equipment with vista on. i offered an Apple MacBook professional and easily like it. Min has all the standards which you have up above plus greater. the internet runs speedier than the different that I easily have considered, it extremely is clean, itunes is plenty speedier. I relatively propose it.

Ask your friends why they keep dropping their laptops then.

Because a laptop does not crash - it is the software.

Ask them what they do with it, what they have installed, and, most important, if they use up-to-date antivirus and anti spyware.

Dell is quite reliable, alas when you run windows, nothing is 'crash proof'

I think they're great, I've used them at work and home for several years and have had no problems thus far. My daugher uses them too and loves hers and she has lots of music and games on hers. They are reliable machines at a decent price. You can also customize them as you order at Dell.com and they have huge discounts on selected models.
