    Boris acid is a common home remedy for roaches. It can be purchased in power form at most drug stores. Place it along base boards behind the refrig, stove and in the back corners and edges of cabinets.

    It is safe for children and pets.

    I understand Boric Acid works wonders on critters of all types. Go to your local hardware store and see what they have. Follow directions carefully and use extra care if you have children or pets.
