Anacondas are a type of boa constrictor and are found in South America. They give live birth. There are four species, but the only ones you'll find in the pet trade are green anacondas and yellow anacondas. Pythons are found in Africa, Asia, and Australia, lay eggs, and have heat pits, which anacondas do not. There are many species of pythons, some small and some large.

I don't know I haven't seen that movie but anacondas are MUCH larger than pythons. Burmese pythons are pretty big but not as big as anacondas, reticulated pythons are the worlds longest snake and can reach lengths of 33 ft. Anacondas are larger in body mass though, if you've ever seen one at a zoo their fat suckers.

I haven't seen that, but a python is similar to an anaconda. Anacondas are boa constrictors, not pythons. They give live birth, not lay eggs. That's about all that there is different between the 2.

Never seen the movie, but after looking at some pics, it does look more like a reticulated python that anything. And just to be clear, anacondas are known as water BOAS. They are boas people.

No, the Anaconda is more massive and heavy while the Reticulated Python is longer ans faster. The thing that truly sets them apart is behavior. But they almost look same, but they are different.
