Do u think cheer leading is a sport?

it is a sport.

i did cheer this year for highschool

& i currently do lacrosse.

lacrosse may involve more work

but cheerleading defiantly goes up to that intensity level !

I don't think so, but anyone can try out for cheer. I know there is the stereotype that girly girls and wimps try out for cheer, which is true at my school; not true at others. I know it takes practice, determination and will. Most people just try out for popularity; some people at my school I didn't know even existed until they became cheerleaders. So I don't think so.

cheerleaders are better all around athletes than players on the field. simple reason. players make mistakes every play. teammates cover errors. cheerleader tiny mistake serious injury potential. cheer practises are longer ,more physically demanding than other sports. intelligence wise . cheerleaders again. there sport longer practises. physically tiring yet G P A is higher .very old retired pro athlete. my opinion it is just another form of disrespect shown towards women by small minded non athletic macho maggots. disrespect towards women the majority of cheerleaders are women. has reached its all time low. cheerleaders are athletes great athletes. therefore a sport . very great flexible athletes. two words for macho maggots. RESPECT WOMEN

well here are reasons cheerleading is a sport

1. it takes just as much hard work and practice as anything else

2. instead of throwing balls, cheerleaders throw people

3. if cheerleading was for wimps, you wouldnt see extensions, libs, scorpians, ect going up in the air

4. cheerleaders have competitions they go to just like games!

Cheerleading is a sport. It takes a lot of strenght. And you also sweat and stuff it helps you lose weight and is a good SPORT to do.

cheer leading is a sport and it is not for girls alone some guys do it for laughs.
